    110 fan shroud

    Hey guys,

Does anyone know if the fan shroud to suit a 110 isuzu is still available from land rover?
Has anyone got a 2nd hand one?
Failing that what is the part number?

    Cheers Eric

Eric, yes they are still available from LR. Unlikely you will find a 2nd hand one but possible. I have the part number at home and won't be back until Tuesday night but I am sure someone else will have the part number handy. If not PM me on Tuesday night.

    Hi Eric,
Part number is AYG2620. LR had plenty in stock a couple of months back - list price was around $320 from memory (which to me seems like a whole lot of $$$ for a simple piece of plastic).

If you can't get a second hand one, another option might be to make one from a V8 shroud and a truck one.
The V8 shroud will give you the correct shape to fit the radiator, and the truck one gives you the right fan size. Should (I haven't actually tried) be able to just cut the appropriate parts from each and pop rivet the 2 bits together.

The other option is to use one from an Isuzu Stage One. They are a different P/N, and may be slightly shorter in height (I cant tell exactly as mine has had part of the lower flange cut off so isn't original).

An option is to remove the fan and shroud and go with twin electric fans. It would be cheaper. I think it would be OK as I don't think my thermostat opens until about 86 degrees. The temp guage indicates the temp is around 82 degrees. The water temp goes up when towing or going through sand so the fan would kick in on those occasions. Otherwise would not get used.
