you could fit and convert a air-conditioning compressor so that you have endless air. there are a few threads on the forum.

I have converted my AC compressor to work as an air compressor. Mounted in the standard location.

I know someone who has kept their AC and mounted a 2nd AC compressor near the inlet manifold. However space is very tight, and I think he had a few problems initially with brackets breaking. IRC he may have needed to remote mount the fuel filter in order to fit it.

Do what isuzurover said ... If your county is like mine and most others the aircon is useless anyways so why not convert mine pumps my tank from 0psi to 100psi in approx 15secs (cuttout switch and blowoff are set at 100psi)

I'm thinking of having a semi permanently mounted compressor on my 110 tray back with some storage so instead of waiting for a compressor to re-inflate a tyre I go squirt done. There are a couple of options; fitting a aircon compressopr as suggested previously
There is a company called Endless Air in Melbourne, they advertise in 4wd mags, they convert aircon compressors.
Or you can look at a truck wreckers for the JCR or similar Isuzu that has the 6BD1 the 4BD1's big brother and see what air compressor set up they have.
Also you will need to fit an air tank as well to store the air.
