    120 trayback questions

Got it currently shovelling red dust out of it unfortunately it look like rust and nailed the passengers side foot well bit of the A pillar and the door. Currently spraying rust converter around and I think the A pillar and floor can be fixed with a bit of flat paint and some bog.

The passengers side door however is a little sader its also missing its door trim and the window winder mecahnism has seen better days. The local 4WD wreckers had a Defender in stock which I hope to rob the fuel tank out of (I don't have one at all) and was hoping the door might bolt on for the quick and easy repair rather than chasing the rust and everything else that is wrong and or missing from the current one. So will a Deefer door fit a 87/88 120?

On another note I was looking at batteries and it appears standard the 120 had twin smaller batteries under the passengers seat, priced them up sees them run for about 170ish each. Is the twin batteries thing correct? I may look at running the leads out to under the tray/chassi rail and fabricate a battery holder/ nick on from a truck to allow a single larger battery. The question been do they take two batteries, or is it more they needed two 80's batteries but one 2011 battery will do the job? How many CCA do you need to crank the 3.9 isuzu to life?
