Drum to disc conversion 1986 Isuzu County HELP

Tossing up if I should change over my whole diff assembly or just change to disc stub axles. Any advice about what is easier, cheaper? Are all Defender diffs the same in terms of ratios and reliability?

Depends on condition of drum setup. I bought a new axle, disc to disc - still haven't put it in. It seemed to me a combination of work that needed to be done on the drum rear end - flogged out shock mounts, brakes needed complete overhaul, bit of freeplay so probably drive members and maybe more - that it was going to be cheaper and easier to replace it at a go. Then I can do it myself and many less hours work spent, both in work and time sourcing bits.

drum to disc on my County

    Thanks guys.
I don't understand the caliper mount option. Does this mean I can keep my old hubs and just bolt on the discs? Is there a down side to doing this? It all sounds too easy!!!
