i was wondering how strong the shafts would be as that the problem i can see with making a hybrid is in our case (4bd1 applications) we need a smaller turbine wheel but need a bigger impeller but in the process of using a smaller turbine wheel from what i have seen is that the smaller the turbine wheel you also get a smaller shaft which would be the weak point i asume.......will be good to see what results you get def90.... what was manufacture time?

Hopefully under two weeks! He's sending the exhaust flange from the ct as well.cause it should flow better then the tiny t2 flange so have to tig that on my manifold, plumb up the off to the dyno, i'm hoping to have it running in 4 weeks

Hanging out here for the results! Is there any indication of a price for these magic turbo's. I'd love to know. They sound like a more reliable and viable alternative to a more expensive VNT setup.

Cheers

If you've got a custom manifold, we need the pics.
Otherwise a single plate can do T3-CT26 round port. A few hours with a drill press and die-grinder and you'll be sorted.

i had half a manifold made out of thick walled steam tube bends and tee's but decided after reading what you said dougal about the factory manifold being pretty good as is i decided to order one which was a mission also :o i made my own adaptor flange to mate a td5 turbo flange (cannot remember the size at the moment but its the little triangled one with 3 bolt holes) mated that to the t25 flange and incorperated a tapped fitting to screw a probe into turned out quiet good if i must say so because a solid block adaptor was not possible i dont think;)

Very much keeping my eyes on this. If the CT26 works well I will definitely make an order.... :D
I've been looking for the right turbo for the right price for a while!

well i got my 'super CT' but haven't had time to go even look at it yet, it got delivered to my mate 70 odd clicks away last week, hopefully next tues i will get out there and start to plumb it up, not looking forward to try and squeeze a 600 x 300 front mount I/C in though, there will be some massaging of panels i believe....

Oh and how does one get in contact with Graeme? Got a question whether or not the CT26 would be better than the GT2260VNT:cool:
