So, I know of a Process Engineer based I think in Perth who has been assembling and selling CT26 based turbos that are by all accounts the ducks nuts. One guy has one running 30psi on a 13BT toyota and on the 4.2 toyotas they're talking boost from 1200rpm.
If I can convince him to build one with a T3 exhaust housing (i.e bolt on to the later style turbo manifold) is anyone keen to try one?
Here's a video of a 60 series 12HT (4 litre 6) on a dyno showing as low as it will hold 20psi. Burning clean the whole time apparently.

could be interested also be interested on a price toohave you found any specs on it yet dougal ?
I have pointed Graeme at this thread. He should either chime in or give me the details to post up.
Maybe I can work on commission, sign up 10 and get one for myself.![]()
well does that mean if i can get another 10 sales ill get one free also ?so on and so forth...... will be interesting to see the specs i recon what make is it or is it a mix of everything?
As far as I know it's Graeme's own mix of parts. Toyota don't publish A/R figures but he's worked them out for the different housings, I'm not sure which wheels he's running but it's not likely he'll spill those beans. The one part I do know is the CT26 have a massive shaft in them, they're a very strong turbo.
Toyota don't publish maps for their turbos, there are a few data points around from people who've found flow limits for different compressor wheels but that's about it.
Hey douga can u pm me his number? As i am going to buy two turbos today and would really like to talk with him first! Thx nud
well i gave the go ahead to graeme tonight for 2 of his turbos......so time will tell how well they are suited to our oil burners........
