    4BD1 oil filter housing repair

    G,day all today while doing an oil change i was a bit ham fisted and tightened up the bottom drain "bung" bolt a tad to tight and cracked the threaded portion of housing so now is ****es out oil just above the rubber O ring.
    So whats the best way to go do i get the crack welded up then retap the thread or try to find a good s/hand replacment?

    it can be cleaned up and soldered or brazed then retapped.
