damn it i thought that was it i got my hopes up that it didnt have an external one but i remembered that when i removed that the battery did not charge when i showed some technicians at work they said it just looked like 2 relays in a case but then they also said if i had an internal reg you can see it on the side of the alternator ..... i need to figure out what wire goes to what pin on the reg plug (i have those diagrams from john but i still need to identify which pin) alternator has the main charge line( straight to battery) but that white plug that has 3 wires out the alternator hook up to that plug on the reg and i cannot tell what pins on the reg plug correspond with the 3 wires from the alternator....
im assuming that it is only regulating the field voltage rather than regulating the the output into the battery?
havnt had any experience on this kind of equipment really
