What sort of intercoolers are people using? Will most likely be used with a BW 6258 EFR.
Has anyone fitted an IC and left the A/C in place? I'm thinking of removing the fans out front and fitting an IC in there.. and then putting 2 electric fans behind to pull air through. Will this work?
What about water to air systems?

thanks - was it a frozen boost kit? their 350hp kit looks good but the radiator + fan is 4.5inches thick which is more than I have to play with...

I have used a County radiator, moved back about 20mm, a 75mm thick Front mount air to air IC, a D1 A/C condenser with twin fans and it all fits beautifully behind the extended A/C county grille. I have even retained the original engine fan, but it is a lot closer to the rad now...

I'm using a plazmaman water to air, fuel screw completely out and can't exceed 710c preturbo @ 30 psi, no more fuel available unless I get the injector pump modified
Also I run no intercooler fan, I don't think it's necessary as you will struggle to get high egt's without moving air via the engine fan
Oh and the intercooler I have is rated for 800hp on a petrol engine
The plazmaman stuff looks pretty sweet.. but dang - its pricy.![]()

ha mate yes it was a frozen boost set up. If doing it again with wta I would use a mixture of frozen boost and other parts. From Frozen boost get the intercooler and the bosch water pump and any silicon hoses you know you will need. Then I would use a small car radiator like out of a hyundai or the likes for the intercooler radiator.
Saying this I don't think you need to go to these lenghts, I would run a ata next time.
