    Which pistons are these?

I picked these up for a song off eBay. Can someone tell me which version?

No, just saving them for a rainy day.

Need the number off the crown or the one inside the piston.

Ah, so these must the pistons from a great height.

I thought from Ben's description in another thread that there were long-skirt and short-skirt and identification would be obvious from the wolf whistles.

I'll go look up those skirts and see what I can see.

Take a better pic too. Can't see if they're Alfin inserts and have a toroidal bowl.

Measure bowl size and depth, skirt height and piston diameter and I can see what they suit.

I don't see the steel ring lands of the alfin pistons. Look like non turbo pistons.

Hmmm... Square bowl and toroidal so could be a 4HE1T.
Measure the diameter at the skirt and the overall height and also the bowl measurement and I'll be able to tell you.
Dont think its a 4BD though due to the toroidal hump.
