Strange 'clicking' sound when in reverse
Hey all, as the title suggests, I have a clicking sound coming from the front left when in reverse. It sounds to be proportional to speed and isn't that loud- at this stage! The noise started instantly i.e. not gradual.
I have a LT85 gearbox fitted to 4bd1t. Gearbox was rebuilt around 9 years ago. Excluding some whine in 4th and 5th the box has been working fine.
Any ideas as to what it may be?
Thanks

X2 on CVs. Sounds like a good life out of an LT85, how many Km in that time?

Cheers for the responses guys!
EDIT*To be honest I can't remember the exact km's at the time of the rebuild but ~220K km's wouldn't be far off.
So I did a little test during my Sunday drive...
I parked up. Put both the transfer case and gearbox into neutral- The result was no noise.
I then put the gearbox into reverse and kept the TC in neutral - The result was clunking sound that is proportional (in frequency and audio) to engine rpm.
I hope this doesn't spell the start of the end of my gearbox!!
