Hi guys,
There is a sensor on the back right hand side of the block - unfortunatly I don't have a photo as its a bit awkward to get one. One black, one grey wire into the engine loom.
I assume its oil, does anyone know if it is pressure or temp?
Cheers

depending on which engine you have there are 2 switches one is for the low oil pressure light and one is for the reverse lights.

No oil presure switch on the cooler of mine. As there is a bypass relief valve in the rear part of the cooler, one of the plugged drillings could be suitable.
The oil gallery is below the cooler, and the pressure switch is installed in one of the tappings (there are a few) into the gallery.
Just picking up on this thread, I would like to install an oil pressure gauge in my 4BD1 County BUT I want to keep the warning light on the dash. I assume I'll need to find an additional oil gallery plug to put the sender for the gauge. The warning light sender is on the lower driver's side towards the rear of the block.
Anyone got any suggestions as to the best place to install the sender unit?

go to auto shop and buy a tee.
Not sure if it helps you, but when I got my ex Stage1 engine it had both the warning switch and a gauge sender. If you look in this photo you'll see the round sender screwed into the main oil gallery (middle of photo with red terminal attached), and also the 2 light coloured wires coming from the pressure switch which is obscured behind the oil feed pipe between filters and cooler.
