    isuzu rebuild kit

    Hi
    Are the isuzu rebuild kits on ebay any good. I am after one for a factory turbo engine

    dougal is the man you will need to hear from on this exact question...i am also looking into options such as this if not i will be looking towards Diesel engineers australia for a kit maybe.

    X2, I would only use a genuine Isuzu rebuild kit.

    It appears most, if not all, of the rebuild kits sold on ebay are generic parts.

    Not worth it IMO. If anyone is making dealer enquiries, can they ask if graded piston/liner kits are still available?

    Hi
    Have talked to isuzu and it is cheaper to get the rebuild kit from them. I did ask about the graded piston and liner he said $800 each.

    Stupid question but what do use mean by "graded" ?

    They come in four different tolerances to match individual bores.

    Auh so that would be in regards to your thread on tolerances I'm assuming...turboed motors having a larger ring to bore tolerance ?
