    Alt

    every now and again, at low reves. the alt light will flash.

    constant flash about 1/2 speed of the indicator
    stops with a few reves

    any ideas?

    Sounds like a diode/ rectifier issue, or possibly a leak to earth through the rectifier plate, is the alternator dirty or oily?

    clean as, maybe that's the problem i just cleaned it

    i will give it a spray with GO and see how it is tomorrow. she is my daily drive at the moment. saving up for a new starter motor for the puma ( ouch)
