Keith, yours is a Garrett T2 manifold.

Went down to the Sunshine Coast and back yesterday. Got held up in the 3 car pileup near Cooroy and while stretching my legs noticed a puddle of coolant forming. Coming out the overflow from the tank. No overheating issues, starts and runs fine, cant see any smoke. Boost has hit 15 now and then but that I have been told here is OK.
Reading past posts it appears I have done the head gasket.
So I need to order a new Gen Isuzu one, use moly on the threads,and tighten in the sequence and torque given in earlier threads.

Everyone agree with the diagnosis and treatment?

Crystal ball says yes. But crystal balls aren't that reliable.:angel:

Main thing is surface prep. I bought a nissan diesel with a recently replaced head gasket and the clowns who did it didn't clean down the deck of the iron block. Head gasket popped on the first mountain pass.

My W.S. manual Isuzu 4BCD-WE-221 gives two steps.

1st to 7 kg-m 2nd to 11.5 kg-m in the sequence illustrated in another thread. No angle torque. Which way to go?

Hmmm strange ..... I would look further than the head gasket if I was you...

Unless your turbo is water cooled, then probably head gasket. I will have a look at what my manual says tonight. Mine is a late isuzu manifold and has angle torquing for most large bolts.

No water in the oil.
Backed it out of the shed and in that short time the overflow tank was already under pressure.
Overflow tank is full up and on removing the plug on the thermostat housing no coolant is visible.
Looks like head off next week.
Rang Madills Isuzu about a head gasket. Only 4 in Australia from Madills but got one from B.O.R.
Need some feedback on torquing with or without angle.

Mmmm does sound like head gasket then :o well my manuals say pretty much what John and ben has posted in this thread...

Follow the manual's progressive torque, no angle torquing.

Spend the extra dollars on a new set of head bolts as well
