So I'm looking to tighten the steering on the County

Would anyone be able to confirm the steering box I need is QAF500110
I've had a quick look and the top of the existing one has 4 bolts through the cover not 3 which I assume is what people refer to when they say 4 bolt and 3 bolt PAS Boxs

    Cheers

Yes, and the number of top cover bolts are the key.

    HI,
There should be a screw on the cover with the 4 bolts. Undo the nut and with a flat screwdriver wind it in a 1/4 of a turn at a time untill you have a direct relationship between steering wheel input and PAS box output. After that, start looking for buggered tie rod ends or ball joints etc.

    Cheers,

Will do as I've noticed it'll swerve a bit occasionally instead of making a steady turn.

I plan on taking a bit of the play out but tbh steering box looks original and has a fair bit of play in it when centered but feels tight at lock. I think it may be just too worn to be adjusted to the point I'm happy with it.

That said when it comes to brakes and steering I don't like to mess about with 1/2 measures

    cheers
