first thing i did was disconnect that pipe and fit a small fuel filter on the end to allow filtered air breathing if needed. i use that pipe in the inlet tract as a pickup for a boost gauge now, so no wonder you were having crankcase pressure issues!
if only you'd posted those engine pics earlier we could've picked that straight away

i dont run any provents or catch cans etc etc i just vent straight to atmosphere as my oil change intervals are very close so the losses dont worry me
