Forget the big hill and the tailwind - I reckon you'll get enough pucker factor with just the engine and turbo
I'm definitely enjoying your posts and appreciate the time you're taking to put them together. Thanks for sharing.

Abit of an update for the fellas who were waiting to say I told you so .Better luck next time:D 1st is used just to get moving 4th is usable from 50 to 150 and OD from 100 to 160 at 2290 rpm was pulling strongly when I caught up to traffic:mad: I have to thank Bush 65 (where is he?) and Dougal for turbo and injection info of wich I know very little .Dougal you got that Turbo spot on certainly no drivell there seems ideal for the 4he1:BigThumb:
For the non believers and the derogaty remarks I forgive you:D as we where originaly discussing 4bd1t and I think you would have been right:angel: I was quite prepared to swap diff ratios but as luck would have it the 3.0 was well suited:BigThumb:
I was just thinking this morning that 4BD1T > MXA-5R > 1.003 LT-230 > 3.54 diffs would be an interesting way to go, now I see it has (almost) been done all before!
Great work AM.
That's great to hear. That was the BW EFR7064 with the 0.64 A/R housing?

How much boost have you got?
Balls out at 35psi and 750C EGT would get you around 400hp. But I'm not sure how much fuel you can get from that pump.
Hey Dougal thats the Turbo running max boost 9 psi EGT safe I think:eek: Trouble is I can spot a speed camera car at 1000 meters but cant read the gauge at 500mm without glasses plus the gauge is faulty I think goes to 1200 c on start up back to about 200 and very erratic I need to chase up a digital gauge I am also going to take my spare pump to the diesel mob and see what they can tell me about it

Cool. See if you can put a 1 or 2 in front of that boost number.
