To me it seems as though its been apart before
The fact that it has thrusts on the side gears is interesting this didn't happen until the LT230 to my knowledge even then they had fibre washers.
Most of the LT95 diffs I have pulled apart had thrusts on the spiders but they wore away to nothing.
I would fit them but I would make sure that the side gear modification hasn't made it too tight. You will be able to tell when its assembled

Thanks DJAM1, the reference to the LT230 makes sense. It looks like my diff is an LT230 hybrid. The LT230 handbook also has a setup procedure for selecting the correct thrust washer so that gives me something to work on. Answering my own question, the part numbers for the side gear thrust washers of the LT230 are:-
FRC9845 1.05mm FRC9847 1.15mmFRC98491.25mmFRC9851 1.35mm FRC9853 1.45mm
