    LT95 Center Diff thrust washers

Never sure where to post LT95 questions but I'm sure someone is listening...

    I'm overhauling an LT95 out of a Stage 1 Isuzu - gearbox number 15C0044.

On removing the center diff from the LT95 to replace the bevel pinion thrust washers I found that there weren't any

The bevel pinions are riding directly onto the casing

There doesn't seem to be any damage - and no sign of previous thrust washers that have been chewed up so I'm pretty sure it has never had any.

But, there are thrust washers on the side gears. I see in the 110 manual that this was a modification - maybe the stage 1 is an intermediate build.

Here's a picture of the side gear thrust washers and bevel pinion thrust washers installed.

    My questions are:-

Is there any reason why I SHOULDN'T install thrust washers on the bevel pinions?

Does anyone have the part numbers for the thrust washers on the side gears (they're showing a bit of wear)? They don't appear on any parts list that I've got.

What grade of Loctite should be used when re-assembling the case. I'm inclined to use 243 (medium blue) or would 263 be a safer bet?

    Cheers
    Pete

To me it seems as though its been apart before
The fact that it has thrusts on the side gears is interesting this didn't happen until the LT230 to my knowledge even then they had fibre washers.

Most of the LT95 diffs I have pulled apart had thrusts on the spiders but they wore away to nothing.
I would fit them but I would make sure that the side gear modification hasn't made it too tight. You will be able to tell when its assembled

Thanks DJAM1, the reference to the LT230 makes sense. It looks like my diff is an LT230 hybrid. The LT230 handbook also has a setup procedure for selecting the correct thrust washer so that gives me something to work on. Answering my own question, the part numbers for the side gear thrust washers of the LT230 are:-
    FRC9845 1.05mm FRC9847 1.15mmFRC98491.25mmFRC9851 1.35mm FRC9853 1.45mm
