JC not sure of clamp force but am running 15lbs boost and plenty heavy offroad.( approx 80,000ks no problems). Figured extra dia. might assist to prevent slip and RRC would be lighter than a 110 fully loaded. Then again maybe disaster is approaching, thanks for the warning.

Alright, picked up my clutch today (KLR28003-1AX) compared it to the old one, a fair bit bigger, as expected. nice orange colour as well ;) however i did notice that the sticker said nissan patrol on the pressure plate, and it does not line up with the holes on the flywheel. just wondering if it is the same sized plate as the patrol or if they packaged the wrong one. and if it is correct, what flywheel will fit the clutch? i have an LT85 flywheel (non factory turbo) from my 120. but assume that would be smaller? the flywheel on the engine is ~325mm ø
the other option is to take the clutch back which is a PITA and try and get another that does fit.

Hi I have an LT85 and the clutch I fitted had the same pressure plate as a 4.2 patrol.
Measure your 120 flywheel,the new clutch you got should fit that,there might be 2 dowl holes in the pressure plate that the patrol uses.

As above, mine was also a Nissan Patrol cover plate , fits straight to my OE flywheel...

alright, looks like I'm taking the 120 apart then.
well i have taken the 120's gearbox out and the clutch will fit the flywheel, but the flywheel wont fit the rangie, i think as the adaptor plate has a much smaller ID. so looks like i am on the clutch hunt again. anyone want to buy the Extra heavy duty Performance clutch from me? we retail them at just under 1K but i will sell it for less than that and it comes with stickers ;) i will put it up in markets later today. PM me if you are interested.

Thats not good,there must be 2 different adaptor plates for the 4 speeds? JC says he uses the bigger clutch.
What is the dia. of the 2 fly wheels?
Could you drill and tap the original fly wheel to fit the larger clutch?
Will the bigger clutch fit in the bell housing?
I don't know what else you could do

Just had a talk to Brian (Bearman) and there are lots of different flywheels and adaptors. he also established that it was a truck engine. here are some pics.

you can see they are similar friction plates (not exact) but the pressure plate mounts differently and is bigger by about 15mmø
