Will let you all know what the problem is as soon as I know, is feeling much better, just would like to get a bit more oomph out of it.
Not sure how this is getting personal? Did I miss something
I have seen cases where turning the screw, say 1/4 turn, actually decreases power, but turning it a bit more increases power to more than the starting point.
Will stuff around with it more tomorrow, but from what I have done,
fuel screw out 2 turns, boost up to 22psi and it is slower than when I had boost at around 15psi and fuel screw out 1.5turns, timing it from 0-100k was around 30seconds, takes off ok, not great, but ok, 4th-5th takes a fair while to get from 70-100.
I might take it for a spin and see what max speed I can get per gear on the governor.
Will also try a different boost gauge, and then try it on the other side of the intercooler.
That's 2.8 non turbo hilux speed.
This was me 4 years ago with a laggy boost compensator, no IC and restrictive intake piping:
Once you're done with the boost gauge on the other side of the IC, plug it into the exhaust manifold. Drive pressure will tell us a lot more.
*edit*
actually I think you should pop the wastegate arm free (zero boost) and go for a drive.
Not sure how I will plug it into the exhaust manifold without melting it
May need to invest in a digital boost gauge
