Yeah, I thought of that - and I'm sure that its a factor, but I reckon if I sneezed on the steering wheel I could pull a 180I assumed that the 4BD1 pump was pushing more fluid through or something.
No smoke issues second time round, so I'm guessing it was overfuelled because the turbo wasn't set up correctly first time.
Learned that if you take out the fuel screw you can do wheelspinsAnd blow off silicon elbows

any Prison Officers here ???
Well, getting it set up closer and closer to how I think it should be working - have taken her for a few runs this morning and it's performing better and better. Definitely going to have to do something about the hoses blowing off though, try as I might I can't keep them secure, and have wound down the fuel a bit to reduce the pressure. Only a matter of time though before a hose blows at the worst possible time when I actually ned the power.
One thing I have noticed though is a huge amount of flicker in the boost gauge needle, which I assume is a reflection of a huge amount of pulsing boost pressure that the gauge is measuring?? What causes this? Is it a problem?? And is there something I should be doing to eliminate it??
