No intercooler yet! Still running the standard none wastegated turbo but I've been reading all the turbo build threads and would like to upgrade as soon as I've got the funds!

This is what it did look like

I've galvanised the original chassis (new rear crossmember) and fitted lots of 2005/6 parts including front doors, wings and firewall. It's got the 2006 spec dash and all td5 spec wiring throughout, minus the ecu!!
    Wow. Nice.

I did something similar. Finished it in 2006 after 5 years. I used a 1988 body and had it painted Zambezi silver. The paints looking a bit sad these days. The 25 year old loom is also suffering in a salty coastal environment.

Nice looking truck, mine took me 18 months (and nearly a divorce!) I also considered silver but went for stornoway grey instead. I wasn't looking forward to sorting the wiring out on mine but when I got hold of a 2006 TD5 firewall with complete dash I made my mind up to get all the TD5 looms, it was a struggle sourcing them all though.

Great job Jock. Lift up windows are great on the 110.

Paul, you'll get about as many different opinions as there are 4BD1s. I go for CASTROL GTX DIESEL 15W-40 in both the engine and the gear box because it keeps inventory down. As for hubs, I've gone for one-shot grease. There is an argument for oil in the hubs to better lubricate drive splines but one-shot has worked well for me - it never leaks past the swivel seals.

    Cheers

Always glad to put photos up. The bull bar has gone, this was to make sure it didn't shake the front end to death on the Canning Stock Route. Really glad I did - then cleaned up a roo on the Gibb River Road - how ironic is that. So it now has a brand new fender. Still a pretty stock NA ISUZU Stage 1 - best series vehicle ever made in my biased opinion...

Oh, and just got approached at the servo last night by a lady who said "some men buy a brand new BMW - but that is a cool car!". So now the Landy is officially a chick magnet (don't tell the wife...).
