Rewiring a 110 vs a S3 Stage 1
So my dad went to take the stage 1 for a drive tonight only to have it nearly catch fire when starting it(Still started).
Apparently the wiring coming off alternator is now a molten mess and the isulation has burn off.(My fault for leaving it as it was but it wasn't being driven)
So on to the point of this post
How difficult is it to rewire a Stage 1 from scatch and is there any major difference between the 110 circuit diagram and a stage 1 diagram apart from the stop solnoid vs pull stop
Cheers,
Rob

Sounds like a good exuse to dump 20kg of wire that goes to nowhere
Major difference that I could see was external regulator, depending on what diagram you are looking at.
I used a lot of trailer wireing cable (for the low current stuff, senders, relays) the flat stuff if you can find it. I kept it a lot neater and easy. only seven colours though.
