A bit more exhausting progress. Pictures showing engine bay route down to between chassis and tail shaft up and over chassis thru seatbox thru the outrigger over spring mount and out the back no muffler .Some heat shields and tape wrap to be done

Nice work! Much cheaper option than buying a puma bonnet (and the puma bulge probably doesn't extend far forward enough for your rad?

    Air Pre cleaner

Thanks The Puma bonnet would fit I think as there is no depression across the front part but the bulge part is not needed.Just needed to clear the rad the thermo bleed and the oil cap so worked well .Have been freeing up the air inlet system wich brings up a question as to the most efficient pre cleaner and is there a vent available to fit the hole where the snorkel came from .I only have experience with the clear bowl Donaldson and was wondering if I could do better

    Thanks Noel

Looks great. Is that 75mm you've used for the snorkel?

Only feedback I can give you on pre-cleaners is with the Donaldson ones you're already familiar with.
I'm running a high flow one (75mm inlet, 260mm diam bowl) which is good for airflow but poor for filtering. A mate who runs the smaller bowl (185mm) collects a lot more dust in similar conditions than I do.

Snorkel tube is 90x2mm alloy .I did a bit of a search on Aulro but all results relate to smaller engines will probably go with the Donaldson for now or one of the4L + Japs

    Nice.
Where did you get the bends from (or have you got 90mm mandrel bending capability in your workshop ).

    3.5" x 180 deg x 2mm polished bend $26.50 and 600mm of pipe$15.50 on ebay
The only problem is if you cut the bend to join to the pipe you need to peen the throat of the bend to bring up to size of the pipe

    2steps forward 1 back

The engine conversion is mostly complete as you can see by the pics i have rerouted the exhaust as I was`nt happy with relation to PS pump and hoses I now have a cool pump and a hot arse. The PS reservoir located behind the booster. The heater core reversed with the pipes away from the filter. I have a few parts left over that I cant figure where they go .Work still to be done
includes aircon dash rebuild and complete rewire

Is the exhaust stainless? How are you planning on keeping the heat out of the cabin?
