Either way is possible John, I can only speak for the perentie conversion which I have done a couple of times. A bonus is that with a perentie you don't have to change the MC or booster if you add discs to the rear (with the PBR setup already there). It is an effective rear brake with 4 pot calipers like the front and a much larger pad than any of the defender or rangie rear brake calipers I have seen.
Cheers......Brian

Hi Jim
14.5mm
anyone know where we can source these hubs from (AYG7305)
I think you will find they were a special made up for the Perentie retrofit, they may start coming through the parts vendors.
They were designed to use the same halfshafts and wide spaced bearings as the rum 110 stubs but leaving the track the same. I you change to 110 front hubs the bearings etc are correct but the track is narrower.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
I spoke to Defence last week.
Re Parts. No parts will be released at this stage until the active fleet is sold off. Read this as you may..![]()
Can the special brackets be fabricated easily? Has anyone manged to find a source of the hubs? Very interested in this as it appears to be the best way to do the conversion (if you can find the two special parts)
If you mean calliper brackets, then Murray (ridjidij) has made them in the past.

Thanks Flagg, yeah I was referring to the caliper brackets, thanks for the link. Rijidij you're a wizard! I'd like to keep all the important bits of the perentie as perentie so I was hoping to emulate the RFSV / 6x6 setup by using the army hubs and keep the track standard. But it's looking like those hubs are as rare as hens teeth at the moment.
