    4bd1 n/a fan belt woes.

G'day all, 1982 N/A 4bd1 Stage One. I have checked the parts list on here but the fan belt is not listed. the old belt is part number Mitsuboshi 413671-6480 (the 4 may be a 9 is hard to tell), Now I live in Tassie, land of 'oh no we don't stock that mate' so have been all over looking for one of these with no luck.
Is there another brand/part number that will fit?
I need help here as the old one is starting to show cracks! It would be nice to have a spare in my kit as well. the belt just goes around the main pully, the water pump and the Alternator.

much thanks for any help my freinds

Belts are generic and sized according to the width and circumference.

So you can measure yours and go to any auto or bearing shop.

    Edit: BX44 imperial size = 17A1120 metric size (17 mm wide and 1120 mm circumference (44" x 25.4))

I'm not sure if yours is the same but I just fitted a BX44 fan belt to the 110

17mm wide - get your belt supplier to look up metric equivalent to 44" if he doesn't have 44"

    I think it will be 17 X 1120

BUT... maybe the Stage One had different alternator or main pulleys ???

If measuring, the length is measured inside rather than outside.
You can subtract the depth X pi if you've measured the outside.

I've got a standard 1982 ISUZU (with none of this air conditioning and power steering rubbish) and it's running an off-the-shelf 15A1160.

... even if it had AC & PS - they do not operate off the main fan belt

(PS is engine driven, AC has additional belts (as used for 24V gen in FFRs))
