The part number was alt160502 with AEA.
It comes with a 1b pulley and vacuum only adaption needed is the mount cutting down to 82mm and the wiring.

I was thinking of going for the 70amp version but due to running 2 aux batteries at 100 amp each and a third on the camper trailer i needed the extra amps of the 120.

    Hey mate

Ashdown can't cross reference that number, is that a Hitachi brand alternator?

Could you please send me the Hitachi number if there is one on it?

    Thanks

Jock, FWIW this is the 120A one I'm currently running. Its listed as an "N" series like the one in Inc's original post in the part numbers sticky.

There are a heap of cross reference numbers on that ebay listing that might be helpful - just do a bit of cross checking that they are actually 120A numbers.
Mine has been in for about a year now with no issues. I skimmed about 2mm off the back of the pulley boss as I felt it wasn't aligned perfectly, but probably not critical.

It comes with a plug with pigtails. From memory its 2 wires - light and battery voltage.
I got some male spade terminals and hooked into the appropriate terminals in the old external regulator plug as I wanted to retain the ability to swap back to my old alternator if required.
Nicer if you can just wire it in properly.

If you feel the need to add a W wire for a tacho, make sure you add a suitable resistor (think I used a 820 ohm ) so that you don't end up with a high current hot wire from the alternator to your dash.

Source for Hitachi 120amp ALT160-502 update

    TIL. Old thread update.

    Just bought this-
    Alternator Hitachi 12v 120Amp Isuzu NK200#
    Baxters 1800 621 068.
Not particularly cheap at $620 + GST but it is local and it is genuine Hitachi.
Hoping the vacuum pump will clear the manifold.

I'm not sure it will tension very well with the adjustment bracket at one o'clock. From memory it should be at around 11:00.

Plus there will be issue with the pump clearing the factory turbo output casing- this part crowds the space somewhat. then I have to upgrade the wiring. Still it's the correct p/n so hopefully it will jam in there with some encouragement.
