Is this what Isuzurover runs? I'd just put it on and use it. Plenty of people here running a t25, so am sure a t28 will work as well.
Im a little bit worried it's a cheap chinese knockoff.
It's a Garrett made under license by the look. I didn't know they manufactured in China. I wouldn't be too worried about the quality of the turbo when made.
I have the later roller bearing version. It's a big improvement compared to a na motor. Fit it and see how it goes. At worst it will need new oil seals or have excessive shaft wear or have a exhaust side AR that's too high. Either rebuild it or buy another T28 replacement which will look and fit the same.
Search ca18det or sr20det turbos. You will find a heap of used turbos if you don't like the one you have.
