I think it's a different housing than the cartridge type. My county has the army style spin-on filter.

Truck style Twin Spin On Oil Filter

The truck style spin on filter housing is available from truck wreckers. The one off a 4BE1 or 6BB1 will also fit. Make sure to buy the connecting pipe as well.

You will also need a spacer to clear it from the front propshaft.
These can be bought here: nugget stuff home

    Regards,
    Cameron

Ron, is that for the twin filter setup on the 6x6s? I don't know if it can be used for the single spin-on 4x4 perentie filter.

Sorry Laurie, I don't know. I know pretty much nothing about 4BD1 Landies. My County was a V8.

I just happened to see it on their website

I'm pretty sure it fits. You will need to do something about the feed to the oil cooler.

The army spin-on setup is completely different from the truck dual filter setup.
