My neighbour has a Landcruiser V8 ute. It uses no oil at all. I believe Toyota fixed the problem. It sound fantastic with a new exhaust. Nothing like the sound of a V8.

Yeah the one I'm going in doesn't use oil either. Although it did just get a brake line recall a week before we head off, crisis averted, Toyota had no replacement lines available, managed to scrounge up the bracket and arb sourced some new braided lines.

Lucky Vern, as it was a vibration related recall!

There's a 200 getting around here with a bigger exhaust - it does sound intoxicating.

Not a whole lot of go though. The p38 would lick it I reckon. Though maybe not towing a 30ft caravan up a long hill.
