Rand Lover - to get my engine I rang all the wreckers in Darwin and only came up with one 4BD1T engine, and luckily the MSA5 gearbox was found when I went to pick up the engine. You could try the rounds again and jog their memories as to what is in stock in their yards.

Also keep an eye out on Gumtree Darwin. I recently got a series 3 stage 1 with the naturally aspirated engine.

About a year ago Ebay had a few Isuzu NPR trucks for sale down south (removalist company stock being retired) for about $2500 each. Asked if he would part the engine and box, but no, would prefer to sell them to the local cockies complete as farm trucks.

Try and get the turbo version if you can.

If you want to see what I'm doing check here. Onset of the wet now floods my work area so progress has slowed.
