I don't have a 'schematic' for the power steering (is there even such a thing?), but I am currently installing it into my Perentie if you want to ask any questions.

    The thread below:

It is due for an update but struggling with uploading photos.

Oh yup, how far into it are you? I'm waiting on parts that I won't get until the end of January before I can put the box in. Haven't looked at ports yet for the pump.

Do you have the pump that mounts on the timing case?

    Progress

Hi Bad Co I have reconditioned the Isuzu pump unit replaced the bearing, oil seal & O rings installed a speedy sleeve to seal surface as it had some slight grooves in it, I am waiting for the seal kit to arrive for the steering box brought it on eBay from the UK 1/4 of the price that the local Landover agent wanted, (pays to shop around) so that's where I am at.
looking forward to reading your progress report

Ha we are basically at the same point. Have you changed your pitman arms over? Or are you waiting on the part before you take the truck off the road?

Any further progress on this? How did you go? I really need to find the bits and pieces to get moving on my steering upgrade soon.

I have removed the Disco 1 pitman arm, just picked up the lower seal for the box, need to put it in, rebuild the pump and assemble everything then sort hoses out.

    How is Brad going?

make sure you flush the box out, and rubbish will sit at the bottom where the seal is. also make sure you get the big rubber doughnut thing for the pitman arm. actually makes quite a difference to the life of the seal.
