It has been discussed a bit over the years but I don't think anyone has actually fitted one. How are you thinking of doing it, a new flywheel or adding weight to the existing one.
Hi. 4BD1-T has anyone fitted a heavier flywheel ?

Apparently heavier flywheels calm the torque pulses Dave. But in reality I don't have any problems with them.![]()

Ok, after pulling the gear box out to fix it & removing the flywheel I can see why no one that we know of has done it. Very little room to add weight, unless you made a whole new one, so have put it all back together as standard. I was looking at doing it to smooth out the pulses of the motor & maybe make it easier on the box as well as give the motor more inertia.
Paul.
