Check you dont have a leaking master or slave cylinder, bleed any air out of the lines and it should stiffen up again. If the master cylinder is leaking you will prob have dluid in the footwell, remove the bellhousing plug to check if the slave is leaking

I have just installed a new slave. ... Did a lot of bleeding and hoped I had all the air out. ... It's not leaking anywhere .... And worked well ... Shall I bleed more do you think ???

Yeah you probably need to, bleeding the clutch can be a right pig of a job. Last time I did it it took me bloody ages to get it right. Have you checked the pedal height is set right?

Have a look either in your manual, the rave cd or do a search on here for the correct height, mine is about 135 -140mm I think from floor (no mats) to the pedal tip. Can't find my tape measure or I would check it for you. I've been lucky every time I have re-fitted it and it has been the right height straight away.

Try reverse bleeding it. After replacing my slave I gave it a reverse bleed and it came out well straight off.
