Qld. The EDIC shutoff solenoid held things up considerably.
Vehicle must by law start and stop on the key.
All sorted now thanks to Harry (Ho Hars) and his mate Pete.
I originally Bought the EDIC from a (here unnamed) eBay seller who is currently listing lots of Perentie bits on eBay from Victoria- whom now refuses to own up to selling a damaged unit for premium price...its too late past the sale to have anything done about it unfortunately.
On a side note- I had to pull the motor out two days ago because the clutch pressure plate bolts were failing. For some reason, on install I used the original bolts with spring washers (in a hurry at the time). The spring washers began unwinding themselves and then de-tentioning the plate- making for that distinctive nasty burned clutch smell. Anyways, sorted now along with a new spigot bush. We live and learn...
Great news it's going (and now back together again!). I only got mine going recently too - exciting times for us.![]()
