I'm running a fresh fuel line (was push, now pull) in for my conversion and was wondering just how much soft fuel line (premium red 3/8) you can get away with when connecting sections of hard lines and various ins & outs.
I have plenty of experience pushing fuel at engines, but bugger all in the reverse.
I won't know if it works until it is all together and it will be a massive PITA if the lines suck flat. Probably going to use coated steel and the aforementioned premium 3/8 hose.
Cheers,
Jason
The only thing that would make the line suck in is a blocked breather. It needs breathers big enough to cope with the fuel going out of the tank.
If you use the 3/8 line and your sketch on the other thread had two breathers, make then 3/8 as well then you will have no problems.
Good luck
