I reckon a turbo of any type, pumping in more air will make a difference. The more air/fuel the bigger the torque curve for these motors.

That’s good to hear. That was my thoughts. Anything that bolts straight in makes life easier.
Make a difference? Sure. But a properly sized turbo is a world of difference to a random freebee (been there, done that).
