I’ve been driving my n/a Perentie daily since I bought it in Nov 2013….love it as more today than when I first bought it. Put about 120000kms on it in that time. Drove it from Darwin to Cairns a few years ago towing my No5 overloaded trailer..didn’t miss a beat. Turbo…Is a nice to have…but you don’t need one to love these old girls.

On Thursday I drove my County about 400km, with only brief stops. Drives nicely, but a bit noisy. No issues.

It has now done almost 712,000km, with the only work on the engine being a few seals and sump and exhaust manifold gaskets, and the injectors overhauled. (alternator overhauled twice, three sets of starter solenoid contacts, one starter free wheel coupling) three thermostats)
