The whole shutoff motor can be disassembled and repaired quite easily to, it will be in a blue canvas type bag................generally connected to the cable that shuts off the fuel pump

Thanks for the warm welcome to the forum (my first one by the way so be gentle).

I bought the landy in Sydney, where I usually live but at the moment work has me in Dubbo.

Thanks for the insight into the shutoff solenoid, I will attempt to pull apart next time I am in Sydney. (can't wait)
