Good Bye to my isuzu county

    Gday All

As you may remember I had my isuzu county and asked you all what is was worth as I had to sell it. Well it only lasted a week (maybe it was too cheap?) on carsales, was getting over 1000 hits a week on carsales which surprised me. Had heaps of time wasters, people asking me why it was more expensive than 96 model defenders etc etc. But the first person to come and have a look bought it, he wanted it for camping and beach work. Was very hard to let it go, put a lot of work into it, was really strange to see someone else drive off in it. But life goes on.

Just want to say thanks for all your help and advice over the years I have been on here, its a great forum with some very knowledgeable and helpful people. I have a stack of parts left over so look out in the markets section, 16"x7 disco and 15"x7 sunraysia rims, isuzu manual, steering guard etc.

    Cheers
    Luke

Luke was that your Isuzu County with the black sunraysias and lightforce spotties that I have been gazing lustfully at?

I have to confess, at least half of that 1000 hits would have been me...

I came *very* close to making you an offer, but in the end had to let the head overrule the heart.

    Gday Shonky

Yeah that was my county, and now its gone was an awesome car, bloke who bought got a real bargain (I think) all the hard work was done will probably outlive us all.

I was a bit disappointed it didn't go to a real Landrover enthusiast, but thats not for me to say.

Fret not - perhaps the County will turn him into an enthusiast who loves it as much as you did.

    Echidna...

Head - I have no money, and the car I already have gets driven by my partner 85% of the time. Said girlie is also 5'1" and wouldn't know what to do with a clutch even if she could reach it...

Heart - yeah... what you said...

    *tear*
