got the roof on and held down with a few bolts and fitted the rear door so i have it up to lockup stage

now have to line up the roof, sides and doors up and get it sealed and bolted down so it loks okay and the doors shut etc etc.

i have it booked in to MR Autos next monday for a clutch so i need to pull my finger out and finish the small bits and pieces like wiring the back lights si i can drive it down there

as best as i remember it the rear wiring should go like

Brake - Green with purple stripe
Tail Light - Red with orange stripe
Reverse - Green with Brown stripe
Left Blinker - Green with Red stripe
Right Blinker - Green with White stripe
    Earth - Black

    correct ?

i have the truck on 33's and disco rims and that is a BIG improvement gearing wise on the std 32's from what i noticed on my little trip around the block yesterday arfo.

desnt look to flash but its getting there ....

    2 things..

crap on the pickup in the fuel tank.

i undid the fuel line at the sediment filter inlet and blew down the line to the tank and it was fairly well blocked so i hit it with some compressed CO2 and cleared the blockage and refitted the lines and fitting etc etc

tried to do more than 80kph but still no joy (insert plenty of expletives here), so i hooked up my electric fuel pump to the system and tried it and still no gogo so i started to inspect and check tightness on every fitting on the line and this time i noticed a split fitting so replaced that and it sprang into life.

was a fair mongrel to find... but got there in the end thankfully...

i cant believe how tall it is geared and will have to spend the dollars on a tacho as i reckon it is only doing 1800-1900rpm at 110kph in 5th on the 33's

grunt down low is astonishing but i am rather intrigued as to how it will handle the climb up the di'agular range or the climb to the bellthorpe road to the top of the range but need to get clutch with some grippy before i take them on
