for your information, as it is a rare vehicle it is not on any insurance company records so it is insured as a standard market value of a 1986 county 110 wagon which is $5500 with NRMA.

Dearest fellow landy member, nice car i wish i could afford it, but you want too much.

    Perhaps you should restore it.

Now the truth, in all it's uglyness

With the complete Gooseneck, in excellent condition and on a good day and a dumb punter, maybe $4500. Sorry I don't pay too much for old cars. Take a grand off for the gooseneck missing, less for scruffy looking doors, historical knowledge that it's been around Aus wouldn't help the corosion issues or the resale value either. Neither can the fact you can pick up a late 90's P38a Rangie for around the sale price you are asking.

    $2500 tops

    Hey there Big Al,
it's a nice, rare vehicle that is quite probably the only one I've seen for sale in 5 years... but unfortunately that doesn't necessarily make it worth more $$$. Someone on here was looking for a 110 dual cab not long ago - do a search and you might turn it into a sale (there is even a post in the markets about it).

Dobbo might sound 'negative' to you as the seller, but the reality is that while you might be a purveyor of what amounts to a rhode island red's tooth, you need to find someone who wants a not just any old hen's tooth, but the specific rhode island red one that you have.

If it had the Isuzu, you could probably sell it 10 times over for $5k this week (I'd be in that group myself!), but as seen in this very forum, a few mint v8 wagons have gone for not much over $2k this year.

you must be one of the 127 watchers on ebay,
it is the original paint and those marks you see on the doors are mambo stickers that have always been there. if you go through posts in previous years you will see that car has been mentioned a few times even before i was a member. the car has only 228000 kms as it has always been a country car, not bad for its age, not to mention unmodified.
    regards,

I like the v8 but that yellow one is great too. If the yellow one was cheaper I'd probably take it.

We are enthusiasts, but were not idiots as well, considering it's rarity, if you want it to go to a good home may I suggest donating it to a motoring museum. At least that way it will stay unmodified and in your possession
