My estimate of its retail price is $15000, giving a premium for apparent condition.

    Nice.

It was strange that they made the Perentie 6x6 with a (12" or so) wider track than the civvie 6x6.

Anyone have any idea how many were sold? I think I have only ever seen 1 in real life.

One of the UK Land Rover mags did a feature a couple of years ago on the Aussie specific LR's and went into some detail about the Perentie contract and the development of the wide cabs and the 6X6. I'll have to dig it out.

I had a good look at an army 6X6 Perentie wide cab that was sitting out the back of Barbagallo's when I was there with the D3 one day - very nice, can't wait until they get released for sale!
