    Is this the same as the genuine 4BD1T turbo?

    (EDIT - I know there were 2 4BD1T turbos, and IRC the genuine garrett didn't have a wastegate?)

    Nope.
    That's got a bigger compressor on it, the exhaust inlet flange is 90 deg out from normal and several other differences.

    That's off a bigger engine I'm picking.

    Ahh OK, cheers. I thought the numbers were pretty close, must be forgetting things.

    That siamese turbo is cool!
