    Cost of 4BD1T

Got a quote for a 4BD1T. $7000 Only 60-70000km on it..., not a chinese copy. There isn't many of these engines around anymore which makes bargin hunting difficult. What do you forum sages out there think...should I tell him he's dreaming?

Purpose dependant?, is it from a truck? a landy?, is it for a conversion?, is it a replacement for a current 4BD1? are you hoping to sell the existing 4BD1 to recoup $$? etc, etc

Ring me tomorrow morning before 12pm on either 0437 377 619 or 9358 1777 and I will see what I can find for you. I may have something in my Sydney warehouse.
    $7000 is a bit steep.

I have seen a few 4BD1s sell for sub $2k recently. The $5k difference will buy you one hell of a turbo setup!!!

Sounds a bit steep. I purchased a good 89 model 4BD1T 120" for not much more than that.
Good luck in finding one any way.

I'm getting the feeling you all think the price might be a bit steep I'm leaning towards getting my 4BD1 reconditioned and then get the turbo kit fitted. At least then I'll know the history. Thanks for the advice over the phone LOVEMYRANGIE.
