    accelerater cable

I had this frey and stick a couple of weeks ago, so I did buy another one. I just hadn't found the time to put it on till I was driving home from work this morning, (strange how the accelerter sticking on full noise can motervate someone into performing this task)

Fitted it, adjusted it drove it home noticed an increase in acceleration, a very light throttle which feels like **** and the idle is a bit high but no resonating in the cabin or the exhaust (it does need adjusting again), looked at the new and old cables, same size, same diameter, old one had a 10mm nut and a 3/4nut with a rubber spacer attached then the rubber boot for the cable. New one has 2 10mm nuts and a rubber boot, no spacer attached.

I am interested in knowing if they are both LR parts, new ones receipt states it is for both the V8 and ISUZU County's, the original one in the vehicle could be genuine LR, could be ISUZU OEM, who knows. Can anyone confirm that they have a rubber spacer, and a large nut on their vehicle, or are yours 10mm nuts securing the cable position?

Just looked at my cable (which I replaced ten years ago) and it has the two small 10 mm nuts and rubber boot. It was part number NRC5494 (which is same as V8)
