6BD1 PAS Pump???

Matt (rovercare) and I were talking about this when I picked up my clutch bits from him. In a 109/110/130 there is plenty of room to move the engine backwards if you don't mind cutting the firewall!!! Of course you couldn't use a landie box.

It's also in the 5 tonne TCM forklift at work. Sitting on top of a six cyl Isuzu with only a seat, a couple of mm of steel and two fifths of stuff all sound proofing separating you IS A LITTLE BIT NOISY. Sorry, I'll take the ear muffs off. I've looked at the pump which runs the hydraulics and it looks like on the fork lift at least it comes of the transmission. Available in Isuzu trucks here from about 1981 -1992 it had 100 kW @ 3200 & 353 Nm @ 2000. Dry weight was 453 kg:eek:

G'day All, Going back a few years now, I did read an article from an engineering shop in Tassie, they were into doing mods etc on Land Rovers, and I do remember reading about how they were running a hydraulic winch from the pas pump on a Isuzu 110 L/r, sorry that I don't know the name of the crew who did this job, but this info might jolt some ones memory cheers and good luck with it Dennis:angel:
