Thanks Rij and others
It needs a lot of tidy up.
With the 4BD 1T conversion and other work to come it will be a fair few $ outgoing to build into a tourer.
Hey , that's what happens when you take on a project:)

Yeah 6k sounds good, most people want close to 10k. I was lucky i scoerd mine for 5.5k mid last year with only a little rust in the fire wall.
Welcome to the isuzu countys you wont be disapointed.
What are doin with your spare lt 95 as ive got the lt 85 and eventually want to do the conversion. I originally had a stage 1 isuzu with the lt 95 and i really miss that gearbox.
cheers Michio
Hi Michio
We haven't finalised the price or deal yet.
Going for a RWC check next week.Hopefully for both of us things are okay.
Has some oil leak problems.
I'm having trouble making things stack up $ wise as I want to fit a 4BD1 T immediately and at least get the panel work and spray job done.
That starts to certainly get up there in terms of $
The final deal may not include the spare LT 95:(
The $ 10500 County in great nick and sold on here last Aug/Sept makes it difficult to justify spending too much!
Maybe it's better to wait and buy a good ,clean example of someone else's blood, sweat , tears and $ project !!!
Very Very patient...
... and have a lot of time on your hands to search tradingpost every thursday, carpoint every friday (although not much there), countrypost every wednesday (I think) only to be disappointed again and again that nothing has come up.
... been there, and I wish you all the best.
Point taken :spudnikconfounded:
There's one on Ebay at the moment........$4500 starting price >>>>>>>>>> Isuzu County
It would be interesting to know why it has no roadworthy and he wants cash!
Also interesting to know why it has a miles speedo - in 1986 it must have originally had a metric speedo if sold in Australia - and if imported privately from the UK, for example, it must have originally had a different engine. Which may be the case anyway - the rocker cover is missing the soundproofing cover fitted to these.

Unbelievable:o
Ill have to get this one checked out also.
Not too far from me
Thanks Rij:)
There's also a Stage 1 with a 3.9 Isuzu in it, starting price $2,500.00
Says good mechanics, but needs a bit of restoration. I guess the motor's worth that alone if it's a good one.
Don't know how to do the linky bit :D
