I put a new thermostat in my 4BD1 a wile back and have since has the odd temp gauge spike. Comes and goes but now more prevalent. I stuck the heat gun on it to night and all seems normal. Cant find any earth leaks etc so I'm thinking the sender.

Any one know what (OHMs) Resistance it should read when cold / around 80 deg and when hot? Before a get a new one. May be the gauge. The fuel gauge works fine.

Its a 1989 120".
